Cardamon a spice which gives Indian food it´s distictive flavour, whole black cardamon is used mainly in north India, it´s taste is strong, somewhat sharp and menthol like, green cardamon is smaller, used in sweet and savoury dishes and sometimes bleached to white resulting in a less strong flavour.
